Raquel Len Pennington (born September 5, 1988) is an American mixed martial artist who competes in Ultimate Fighting Championship women’s featherweight division. She has previously fought for Invicta Fighting Championships.
After over a year long lay off Pennington is back stronger than ever and going after the ultimate goal “the world title”. Beating Pannie Kianzad by unanimous decision followed by another win beating Macy Chiasson by submission in the second round at UFC Fight Night on December 18 2021. With a new mindset and ready for any challenge that comes her way.
“The ultimate goal is the world title,” Pennington said. “In the meantime, each one is a steppingstone. I think that every girl brings a challenge to the table. I don’t care if you’re the champion, number one or if you’re 50, I love challenges.”
Former UFC bantamweight title challenger Raquel Pennington Fills in on short notice against Aspen Ladd at UFC 273 on April 9th. After getting poked in the eye and suffering from a broken hand in the first round Pennington went the distance leading to another victory by unanimous decision putting “Rocky” on a winning streak of four in a row once again and bringing her closer to the ultimate goal “The World Title”.
Now with a winning streak of 5 in a row after winning by split decision over Ketlin Vieir putting Raquel Pennington back at number 2 once again where she belongs and back in position for the UFC World Title shot.
